Aware Environmental Ltd. is the parent company of Austech Products Pty. Ltd (Sales & Marketing Division) and Greencare Developments Pty. Ltd. (Research & Development and Manufacturing Division).
Aware Environmental Ltd. produces products that Australians love under three main brands; Orange Power, Aware and Actizyme.
Our story:
In 1991, Andrew and Iain Chaney discovered a use for discarded orange peel waste in cleaning products and launched the Orange Power line. In 2010, the company, under its new name Aware Environmental Ltd., acquired Aware and Actizyme as part of its growth strategy.
For nearly 20 years now, the company has been formulating, manufacturing and filling household, cosmetic and toiletries for the Australian and export market.

We have a total commitment to providing Australians with ethical and environmentally sustainable products that offer great performance and are supported by credible independent authorities. We want to make it easy for consumers to be green at home without compromising the integrity of the environment or their families' health.
We don't use palm oil or petroleium oil derived ingredients and avoid all toxic and de-sensitising ingredients.

Facts:
We are one of the only FMCG company that has subjected our label claims and our production practices to third party independent auditing by GECA under ISO 14024. Hence there is a risk in respect of the compliance of the claims on other "green" brands.
We are the only company to perform the research and bear the cost of eliminating palm oil from our products. We have also partnered with Zoos Victoria to support its environmental campaigns and the fight against unsustainable palm oil production.
We are the only company working in a close relationship (co-branding on the label) with Planet Ark, one of Australia's most respected environmental "brands" in Australia. We not only help fund Planet Ark's programs, but we collaborate with them to develop the most effective campaigns. We recently worked with Planet Ark in respect of the urgent action needed to stop the destruction of what is left of rain forests in Indonesia, Malaysia and Borneo.
